Synopsis

"La Mujer Murciélago" (The Batwoman) is a 1968 Mexican superhero film directed by René Cardona. The film follows the adventures of Gloria, a masked wrestler and crime-fighter known as Batwoman.



 When a series of mysterious murders occurs in Acapulco, involving wrestlers found dead with strange marks on their necks, the police call upon Batwoman to investigate. She uncovers a sinister plot by the evil scientist Dr. Eric Williams, who is creating a race of amphibious superhumans using wrestlers' blood.



Batwoman uses her wits, athletic prowess, and fighting skills to confront Dr. Williams and his monstrous creations, seeking to put an end to his nefarious plans. The film blends elements of superhero action, horror, and lucha libre, making it a cult classic in Mexican cinema.
